Hobbies
I am an avid golfer. One of the things I love most about our local community is the fact that we have access to some of the greatest courses in the world. I frequently golf at Schneider’s Riverside, Sun Hills, and Hubbard golf courses.
I like to hunt, fish and camp. I love to spend time in our great outdoors. Four wheeling at Sand Hollow and craw fishing at Strawberry Reservoir are some of my favorite annual camping trips. I also look forward to our annual cow elk deprivation hunt with Rex Feller, Mitch Tice, Matt Feller and all the great guides with Wild Country Outfitters.
I also look forward to giving back to our local communities. Each year I look forward to volunteering with Angel Tree and Feed My Starving Children, two awesome projects that help those in need. On a monthly basis, I provide free legal services at Mountain View Baptist Church as part of our community outreach service with the Christian Legal Society. Washington Heights Church has been my church and family for at least the last decade. I enjoy volunteering as the Nominating Committee Chair and, from time to time, as a Youth Leader for Junior High and High School Students.
Finally, as of 2014, I am a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan (Aaron Rodgers is the Man!), an embarrassed Minnesota Twins fan (my team is just a farm team for either the Yankees or the Red Socks), a equally embarrassed Tennessee Volunteer fan (can we please stop being the door mat of the SEC), a Minnesota Golden Gophers fan (it’s nice to see some school pride making its way through the athletic departments of late), a Utah Runnin Utes fan (do we have a respectable basketball team this year?), A Weber State University fan (Wow, was Damian Lillard really that good?! And, is our football team really that bad?) and a Jazz fan (they need to “suck” better so we can draft Jabari Parker).
